I can't belive that they are saying "Worst choice ever" "A nightmare on Elm st is ruined" ect but BBT is a great choice for Freddy, one day I was in my room saying "No one does Freddy better then Robert" but I was watching Bad News Bears and Bob's face work was just like Freddy's. BBT is a great choice for a Freddy roles. Now I'm even more pumped to see the ANOES remake.

Too bad there are so many sell-outs in Hollywood, otherwise they could refuse to do it. No one is Freddy but Robert. Also why even get a guy who looks like Robert when it is a remake? It makes no sense. They should just have made another NOES. Also with the remake it would not make much sense to bring back Robert now as Freddy, so does this mean we never get to see him again as Freddy? I hope there is a FVJ 2 with him in it, or something similar. The best would be FVJ with Robert and Kane, Freddy VS New Blood Jason.Also the Joker was already done by a few others before Heath, there was never any other Freddy but Robert.

Nothing against Billy Bob, but I don't think any choice they made would have pleased ANOES fans. This isn't Jason or Michael, where you hide the actor behind a mask and they don't speak a word. Robert Englund is Freddy period.
