Well, it's about TIME I did this, considering I live around 40 miles from it. The place is fucking hard to find unless you're with someone who already knows where it is (Google Map's directions are *wrong* FYI, so I got really lost looking for the place). Luckily, I drove my mother along with me to help guide me through Morristown. Sooner or later, we found it, but *only* because I'd known what to look for beforehand. You will miss it if you blink an eye...Certainly so if you're not familiar with back-country roads.I spoke with the landowner's sister and asked her if it would be okay to browse the site and take some pictures because I was a fan of the film in which the cabin appeared. She said "Take all the time you need! It's right back behind that fence." and even proceeded to tell me a bit about the cabin's/property's history. She was SO nice, I was really surprised. She also said something which stayed with me, "Soooo many people have come here over the years to visit that cabin because it was in some movie. I've never even seen it!" haha. All that said, here is the first set of pictures, from the entrance and path through the woods. Nothing extremely creepy, until you walk further in, and the trees begin to "take over"......:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190277.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190278.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190279.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190280.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />HERE is where the creep factor began, even though the sun hadn't set yet:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190281.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190283.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190284.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Cheers,Ryan

    On further into the woods...<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190286.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190289.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190291.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190293.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190295.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190297.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Almost to the cabin now...<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190298.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Cheers,Ryan

<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190299.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190300.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190302.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Now, for the front yard. (Below.) These are the two "evil" trees out in front of the cabin's foundation. Man, you would NOT BELIEVE how fucking GIANT these trees are. They look at least a hundred, perhaps two-hundred years old. You have to look <i>straight up</i> to see the top of them. They're very ominous, too, standing like two royal guards to the treasure trove behind them...<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190303.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190304.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190305.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190306.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Cheers,Ryan

    More of the 2 evil trees:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190411.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190308.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190309.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190310.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190311.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />From where the house would have sat:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190370.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190369.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Cheers,Ryan

Directly behind the trees, this is what you'll see:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190307.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />The walkway up to the house...<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190313.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />And what I affectionately refer to as the "house pile." Take notice that there are virtually NO wooden structures or pieces. Just tin, from what I saw:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190323.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />This is apparently the pit previously dug out for the "trap door" in the floor of the house:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190318.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Here is the poor ole' chimney in its current state. Notice how many bricks have been raped and pillaged from the structure ( <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> ):<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190346.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190330.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190340.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Cheers,Ryan

    A well behind the house...This was intriguing, as I'd never seen it in pictures before:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190353.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />More creepy trees from the right side of the house:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190357.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />House "interior"...heh:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190361.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190363.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190373.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190377.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Fireplace with flash:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190383.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Cheers,Ryan

    One more bunch of pics, and I'm done.Here's what lies behind the house's foundation:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190388.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190390.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Another short trail to the behind the house and to the right: <img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190397.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Creepy, old, dead trees to the side of the foundation:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190400.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />More of the trail as it got darker:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190405.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190424.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1190426.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />That's all I got! Hope everyone enjoys the pics! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />Cheers,Ryan

Because the lady told me I was the first person to *<b>ever</b>* ask if it was okay to take something from the site, instead of just pilfering it without their knowledge. I told them I'd probably be back next weekend to take more pictures and show a couple of my friends the location, and she said she'd have an answer for me by then. I am hoping it will be a yes! Thanks and cheers,Ryan
