I think Michael Keaton was the best. I honestly am not a fan of how Bale disguises his voice and also has a slight lisp. But as far as the films as a whole go... I'm more of a fan of the new ones with Christian Bale.Heath's Joker rules.

you mean the voice over actor? Don't get me wrong....he has the best voice for batman/bruce wayne out of any of them. But I wouldn't compare voice over work to the overall acting job of actually being on screen as both sides of the batman.take care,Tommy

I like Bale as Bruce Wayne, I think he's awesome, as far as being Batman goes, no. For Batman I think Keaton was the best without a doubt.

Christian Bale, hands down. Never was a fan of the other people who played Batman (besides Adam West, but that's a different level), especially Michael Keaton. As for Bale's voice, I think it's fine. All the other actors tried to sound "cool" when they spoke as Batman, but when Bale speaks as Batman, it sounds just how it should: like a man disguising his voice. Nothing fancy. Nothing over the top. Just how it should be.

I like Bale best. His Batman voice isn't great but it's not terrible imo. Admittedly with the exception on the first Batman, I'm not a super huge fan of the Burton films.

I love Bale, as Batman and an actor overall, but Keaton goes back to my childhood. He will always be my favorite.
