The screen's not big enough to fully enjoy the potential of Blu Ray discs IMO. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> I think to really enjoy blu-ray you'd have to have at least a 32 inch 16:9 TV.

imo, blue ray is just another way to up the prices for things....although the picture is obviously better, untill dvds are not being made anymore, I will stick with themand on a side note, its not really just about the blue ray discs or players, it also has to do with your tv quality.... it really looks best on large plasma or lcd screens, so not everyone who plays bluerays will get as good a picture

I don't really have that big of a dvd collection so for me it's really not a problem. With that being said, I'm still very selective over what Blu-Rays I buy. I try to catch sales when I can, get competitive price adjustments, and buy only the movies that I really like. I'll also read reviews of the Blu-Ray itself to see how the quality of the picture is and exactly what tier there ranked in as well as the audio quality. If the price is right and the review is good I'll most likely buy it.

Maybe I am a bit weird, but I am not a huge fan of Blu Ray.I watched a couple that were playing at best buy(I am robot, and the Santa Clause, and man they are crisp and clear, but too real.I mean it kinda took away from the movie a bit.Felt like watching a soap or a reality show.Hard to explain, but hopefully someone gets me.You see a lot of detail, which makes it real easy to see imperfections.lololI think it is fine for like disney pixar flicks ,and animated shows, but for most movies, I am good with DVD quality.I have way too many flicks. It would cost me a small fortune to replace them.lol
