Cease and desistWell guys apparently I can no longer sell gloves as far as I can see. I had to post as soon as I learned this. Aparently the PO has filed a complant about "Modified Weapons" being sent out by me on a daily basis. First of all how do they know what i am shipping even in the us? Anyway shipping this stuff over seas has fucked me over aparently they have been watching me? It must be a act of terrorism or something. I was surprised to get a knock on my door by 2 guys in suits LOL un fucking real dont these feds have better things to do? I am so pissed I fucking give up guys I dont think I can fight this. I owe alot of people so I have no other choice but to refund everyone there money after the new yr. I have a court date date downtown chicago in 2 weeks to appeal the cease and desist. I will go to try and get something worked out hopefully I dont want this to end as its alot of income I rely on. I need some help guys I heard of others going thru this has anyone every reversed these things. Anyway you might want to know all they talked to me about was now long I have been doing this? And wanted to check out my work area. They kind of acted like it was a joke I could see it in there face makes me sick. Anyway Any one with advice I could use it please. -Ken

Ken, Who is the C&D from?Definately stop production until you have your day in court.I would think that once you appear in court, and show them that it is movie replicas and not weapons, you may be ok.I know that a few resin gun makers had the same thing happen over the years. Once they proved that they couldn't be made to fire they were ok.Pat

Holy crap Ken... that SUCKS big time! I could understand not being allowed to ship overseas but within the U.S.??? I thought this was America. Who has any right to spy on us like this??? Hopefully this all gets worked out. I personally wouldn't worry about doing any refunds until this is resolved since it may just get resolved soon anyway. That would just be a pain and I'm sure those who have already paid would be more than willing to allow you some additional time to get this straightened out before a refund would need to be issued. I've had some crap come up over the last couple of months that caused me to fall really behind on orders and I emailed all of my pending buyers letting them know and they were all very willing to keep waiting. I hope you can get this fixed but this on top of your recent health issues is just flat out ridiculous. Keep up posted, bud.

Don't worry Ken, half the time this shit is to scare you out of production.Take a glove to the court and show them that it is only a movie replica, show them you post them out properly and securely and there's no danger to the handler and you will be fine, the post office have to protect their workers and that's maybe what it's all over.Just keep pushing the point that is ok to send cutlery for example kitchen knives overseas so why can't you send a prop replica of some?Fight em Ken and don't give in!

wow i almost don't even know what to say .... when i first started reading it , i thought to myself that if it was me then i would go ahead and make a glove and have the blades as dull as you can get them so you could take ( in a large box lol ) to take in as evidence to show that you are not making weapons but infact movie replicas . i still find it hard to believe that they still allow swords , real knives , daggers , etc. to be sold online and shipped out but they have a problem with this <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" /> . i say just make that 1 glove for the court case and stop production after to see what happens and if they say you can't make them anymore then you know to refund everyone but don't act so quick on that part just yet . who knows you might just win ..... unless it was New Line who did it lol mike,

Do NOT give in to this crap. If I would have any recommendation, I would say to maybe package the glove a little differently. Maybe get some styrofoam (sp?) blocks and push the blades into it so they don't break through the box. Packages are subject to random inspection and maybe one of your packages was inspected and the blades had popped through the box like they did on the Part 4 you sent to me so they considered it hazardous and issued the subpoena. Who knows... either way.. I think this will all end up in your favor eventually.

That's a bunch of crap. At first I thought you got a C&D from New Line, but the post office? That is straight up ridiculous. Hang onto my money until this gets totally sorted out and hang in there.Seriously, what a bunch of asshats.
