I know I shouldn't like Jason X, but I do. A cinematic guilty pleasure for sure.

I love Jason as a character/monster and I can just about sit through all the movies from part 3 onwards, but I would not say any of them are good films. I mean take part 4 for example: at the end a very young Corey Feldman decides to cut his hair bald-ish and confront Jason saying, "Jason......don't you remember?" Hahaha, everytime I see that I laugh like a drain. I mean WHO would do that/ think that was a good idea? lol. Jason X was also hilarious.....Jason in space??? WTF? I am looking forward to the remake and I hope it can bring back some more of the fear and less of the comedy. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thumbsup:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

Although I can watch and enjoy basically all of the Friday the 13 films, JGTH is just that one that I will usually change if I see it on tv. I got an uncle who absolutely RIPS most slasher films, but he said the exact same thing you said. Jason X was just a fun flick to watch. If you compare it to the rest of the series, ofcourse you will be dissapointed. Watch it for what it was, a fun and quick way to make some cash to spend on VS. Its a cool flick with some action, violence, and gore. Throw in a futuristic aspect and it sets itself apart from most of the films that were out at the time.That being said, I in no way say this is the best Friday film by far, but you gotta enjoy it for what it is and not expect it to be an oscar winner.

Also have thinking about that with the gloveI remeber i was so diseponted when i saw Jason goes to hell first time, waited so long time on it then it was so bad. And the worst off it was probeley the price, paid almost $40.00 for a copy! It shoud has been a "brand new VHS", import from USA.It was a company from Sweden that order it for me from USA they told me, and they send me a copy with black and white pictures on the VHS cover.Thank you verry much...he he <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" /> I havent even looked at Jason X yet.For me Friday the 13th is 1-8
