Hello,First off, once again thank you to all those who have provided me with input and helped me improve my work. I think I am starting to understand things a bit more. I trashed the last two pieces and am now working on this third one. I feel that I have come a long way with this one, but before I get to far along, I wanted some critique on the basic form. I am working from references of Doug Bradley to try to capture Pinhead. Any advice on where to add, take away, what to concentrate on at this point, would be greatly appreciated. <img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/dougfront1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/dougl.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/dougr.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/profile1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Thanks for all your help,Brian

Definitely smooth it out to give it a more natural look. The chin looks a little smushed in.Work on the mouth some more.Try to make the ears more Anatomical .I have never sulpted myself but it definitely looks better than the first two.I think it looks pretty dang good so far.It needs work but its getting there.Practice makes perfect.Dont get discouraged if people make bad comments.I have purchased 2 armatures myself and I am waiting on the clay to be delivered.I am going to play around to see if I can do anything productive. So far I have just been painting and hairing mask for about 4 months just for fun.I really enjoy painting mask.Post some pics when you make more progress...Take your time....Most great sculpts are very time consuming.

If you smooth him out and mold him he'd look like Kane from wrestling. See no evil bust buddy.<img src=\"http://curves79lady.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/see-no-evil-squishing-head.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

I am keeping with this one for a bit as I think the issues with it can be addressed easily without just trashing it and starting over. Here are some new pics and thanks for the comments, all input is very appreciated. I bulked out the front of the forhead to the crown of the head to give it a nice round shape, and added more material to his chin / jaw / nose / cheekbones. I began modeling him more after the 3demonic piece over the lifecast I have and feel that it is looking more like what I want. I will be reworking the wrinkles in the forehead, just put them there real quick to see what they would look like. My plans are to smooth him out real nice, add texture and detail and then start adding the grid. Let me know if I am heading the right direction with that train of thought. <img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/122front.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> <img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/122pin34.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/122pro.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v491/carter1010/122342.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Thanks,Brian
