Part 3 came out in 1982, and part 4 came out TWO years later in '84. Part 6 came out in '86 and part 7 came out in '88. There were four years between 8 and 9 as well.

In Savini's defense, I understand what he's saying in that youtube clip. It wasn't really an insult to the fans, but he said it more jokingly. Jason did die in the first film, so we all thought - so I could see how he would be like WTF, he's dead I can't do a sequel. Plus the Burning had to be more interesting for him. But yea, dick still he is. Yoda says so too.

And he seems to be a huge fan of those old monster movies.\Also, it was not that hard to being Jason back... and the way he came back (as in he did not drown if you subscribe to Ginny's theory) was not all that far-fetched.

Sorry if I'm a little late on this thread.....Anyways, last October Tom Savini was at Rock and Shock convention and I was thinking of going up to him but it seemed he was too busy flinging rubber bands at other actors. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":laugh:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> Just by the expression on his face he just wanted to go back to the hotel room. About the video, Maybe he did say it jokingly that Jason was always dead but he really contradicts what he has done like for the fact that it was <u><b>HIS</b></u> idea to have jason come back to life in part 1 and doing so he made an a$$ of himself on that video.And cole(Michael-the shape-Myers), It really doesn't help saying that coming from a myers fan.Plus it really doen't matter about the time given. I depends on who is directing it and writing it because some sequels who had a long time to write a script came out sucky
