P.S. Even if it WERE to continue continuity from the original film, why does Anakin get to go back to his youthful, beautiful self? And Obi-Wan, and Yoda have to stay the same way they were when they died? Either way, it was a dumb descision.

Lucas shouldnt have put stuff in the prequals that would make him have to edit the origionals, plain and simple...i cannot get over what he did to Boba Fett, that alone destroys The Empire Strikes Back...are they gonna replace Yoda with a CG version now? Boba\'s voice was a huge part of his character, and Lucas killed that.

I still can\'t believe they replaced fetts classic lines, that makes me sick. I just bought a set of the originals off of ebay. "Put Captain solo in cargo hold", f**kin\' classic lines that Pucas shouldn\'t have screwed with.

The reason for the switch is that is what Ankin last looked like when he was off the light side of the force..it is also what he looks like the first time he dies! dats right folks he dies and is brought back and made into the Vader we all know and love. At least that is what Uncle George said in an interview a few months ago I believe. I am a long time Star wars fan and have been for over 20 years and the S.E. are fine with me. I got the set in the mail last night and these are the best looking and sounding DVDs I have ever seen or heard. The films look better than they did when they were new. Oh and as for the voice change of Boba it makes perfect sense he is not the sun of Jango he is a Clone of Jango that he raised as a son so ya damn right he shoud sound just like Jango.

preach it preacher man. I\'m not a huge Star Wars fan. I dug it when I was a kid, and I still think it\'s pretty cool. But I haven\'t seen them since the S.E. came out. I did get the dvd\'s today though, so I\'m looking forward to seeing it. A few people have said the sound and picture are excellent.

and dream demon has the right idea they\'re only movies and the classics aren\'t any better than the special editions so get over it people
