Well, I finally got around to taking some pics of the 'finished' bust. The first 2 pics are obviously real pics of my Grandfather, whose name was Wallace Burns (my mom's Dad) for those that haven't seen the original thread. He passed away back in June of 1987. I was born on his Birthday, hence my middle name (Andrew Wallace Santagato).I finished this piece in latex. The eyes are acrylic. The hair job was a killer, seeing as how I had to blend both light gray and dark gray. It's a little hard to tell in the pics, but it's blended quite a bit.I presented him at the family Easter gathering this past weekend. it was a pretty emotional event, to say the least. I plan on doing up a bust in Silicone later this year, with punched hair, etc.I hope everyone enjoys the pictures, and thanks for the great comments thus far. It was indeed a project that carried it's fair share of pressure, lol, as I wanted to get his likeness as best as I could. This piece DID garner me a credit from my teacher, Dick Smith, who absolutely loved it. That, of course, meant quite a lot.-A
