*sigh* Why Rob, why. The remake is interesting, this one I have zero hope for. It never made sense to me why a movie equivalant in flow, form and style to an orchestral piece would be taken on by a heavy metal rocker. The sleek sophistocation of the first 2 Halloween movies made them what they are, I like Rob, and his work, but it was a total deconstruction of that, and looks like it's going further downhill.

Honestly, I see how some random non-horror fan would like the films, or even a non-Halloween fan, but for those who DO enjoy the first 2 Halloween films know that this isn't Michael Myers anymore... It may have similar characters, but it's not the same universe.... Same with Friday the 13th...I feel if that was a new killer, I'd think it's awesome lookin and certainly would pay to see that butcher people. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":wink:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" />

wow.. complete with his pink face poking out.I'm hating it. He's not a leper, or a jedi knight, or the grim reaper.. it's a guy just trying to hide within a new persona created by the mask. A little more faithfulness to that concept, rather than "pushing the boundaries beyond their limits" would certainly be appreciated.Next he'll don a hockey mask, have pins shoved in his head, or wear a flesh mask.It's just not Michael Meyers to me..
