Yes.. I'm sure it's painful to not have any stake in the franchise but I would think that so many bad sequels would have hurt worse than an attempt to take the genre back to its roots. Sucks that he gave up so much to get the film made though. We're forever thankful for him. Maybe he can buy back the rights???

It'd be nice if they would cut him a deal where he could become the rightful owner once again. Sucks that he had to sell out completely for get the first film made. Who knew it would become what it did?

Mark I wanted to touch on another topic aswell with you... I dont understand why are they going to make freddy into a pedafile instead of a child killer? Even though roberts not in the remake "with he has the right to be and so does craven" Im for the remake It keeps freddy alive in so many ways as long as they dont f it up... it brings more fans to freddy... but making him into a pedafile... thats the only thing about the review of the skipt that im truely concerned about.... I was woundering about your oppinon on the topic of that....

I also think making Freddy a pedophile is the wrong move. Molesting little kids is a touchy (no pun intended) subject and could really distract the consumer from the overall story.
