Since there has been a lot of frustration over both remaking horror films, I was wondering who do you think would have done better with Halloween?Tom <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />P.S. And why?

well it's clear that NL ruined the jason movies that they have made by themselves and one of the only reasons why the remake did well was because they had alot of help from others lol . i feel like dimension did pretty good with their halloweens but if rob zombie would've been left out then they would be even better . but everyone's going to feel different about each mike,

And I do own it on dvd. I do like zombies other 2 movies and can only hope that H2 will be better. I do have to admit he does seem to take alot of his ideas fom others. Like the skinning of the dad and girl in his first 2(TCM) and the mom telling him to kill makes me think of F13 to name a few. But I guess they all do that to some extent?Tom

Rob Zombie saved Halloween as far as I'm concerned. Would you guys honestly prefer Michael being cursed some more? Or maybe another movie where a rapper like maybe Soulja Boy or T Pain kicks his (With all the beautiful words in the English language, I had to go and use a bad one!)? Rob Zombie brought the BEYOND DEAD franchise back to life.

I have liked most remakes. That being said, I hated Rob Zombie's first Halloween, as well as his other two movies for the most part. Forget movie studios, he is a terrible director in my book.

Personally I have loved the remakes that have been out so far! TCM 2003 and the Beginning were both awesome IMO.... I loved RZ's Halloween and really dug the new Friday the 13th... that being said... I cannot wait to see RZ's Halloween II... Im just thankful they're still making these....Cheers,Steven

Rob Zombie in my book is one of the best (Dern, I done gone and growed another head) Movie makers out there!!By Far, just the feel of all of his movies brings back that old grainy AmericanHorror that was lost so long ago. and for him to take over the rains on the Halloween Franchise, Is pretty Freakin Brave if you ask me he's no John Carpenter, But he's defiantlyup there with the best........dimension...

Although this is practically IMPOSSIBLE due to his beliefs... I'd love to have seen John Carpenter make a modern remake of his own film. With his film experiance now, this could have been great. He's against a remake of Halloween anyways, felt it shouldn't have been touched (as do I, from parts 4-RZ).I felt Halloween 07 was decent... but hardly Myers, and same goes for the F13 remake. Simply saying "hey, atleast it's not as bad as Ressurected!" Yes, true, but it COULD HAVE lived up to the originals. Well, not with today's horror standards.

Personally, I HATE RZ's movies. Was OK with the other remakes, but still Im more set in with the classics.
