Not a great week for celebs. First Ed McMahon, and today Farrah and Jacko. I never was a huge Michael Jackson fan but I do feel sorry for him and his family. Very sad day indeed.

<!--coloro:#00FF00<!--/coloroAs a young kid growing up in the early 1980's, there was simply nobody cooler than Michael Jackson. His music was a HUGE part of my childhood. MJ stuff was everywhere! I had the glove, the doll, an MJ lunchbox, Thriller on vinyl, everything! Even as a young kid I knew he was unlike any other performer I had ever seen... or will ever see. He was one of a kind.I was 5 years old when this aired and it still blows my mind today. The debut of the moonwalk.Enjoy! <!--colorc<!--/colorchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZt_qpZ1N3o<!--coloro:#FF0000<!--/coloroGod bless you, Michael. I hope you rest in peace forever. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sad\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" /> <!--colorc<!--/colorc

I was so shocked when I turned on my TV today and saw this news. Its very sad. Best wishes for him and his family. I am not a huge fan but I respect him totally, his dancing was always superb. He made an outstanding contribution to music. My favourite song by him is Billie Jean. Rest in Peace Michael, you will never be forgotten.

If he was a child molester, then I cant say I'm all that sad. Sorry to all that liked him,but I as a kid went through that hell and just have a hard time feeling bad for any one who could do that to a child. That being said, if it really never happened and we will never know, then RIP M.J.

I loved MJ when I was a kid. Thriller was one of my favorite videos. I really don't believe he did that to those kids, but who knows? I think it was all about people trying to get money out of him. I guess we'll never know for sure though. R.i.p MJ

This will play out exactly the same as the whole Heath Ledger death. People will now claim they were SUCH big fans of Michael's, when in reality, they were the ones who agreed with the accusations against him. Call me naive, but I just don't think he did anything he was accused of. I believe he had a horrible childhood, and couldn't experience many of the things typical children should. Now that he had grown up, he had the opportunity to go back and be the kid he once wanted to be, and share it with other children. While in today's society, that's a bit odd, it's not against the law.Anyways, like I said before, the true fans were always behind him before this tragic incident. Wait until you see how many people begin praising him that never had a thing to say about him in the first place. I had always been a fan of his work, and have the CD's to prove it. Rest in peace Mr. Jackson, you paved the way for many who came after you. I hope my future children can one day come to respect you as much as I have. (I'd also like to ask that this not turn into a "he did it" debate, thanks_)If any of you haven't already heard it, check out "I'll be there acapella" by jackson 5. The sound of young Michael's voice solo is absolutely beautiful. And while we are on this note, RIP to Mr. Ed McMahon as well.
