Rest in peace my friend. I was also very young when I saw thriller, and had one of those little viewmasters slideshows of the whole video. Used to put on dirty clothes and dance around my living room pretending I was a singing zombie like him. I owe a lot of my interest in art and horror to him, will be missed.

Still taking it in......Rest in Peace, Michael. I was a big fan of Off the Wall and Thriller......and the Making of Thriller without question! As mentioned earlier......at one point, he ruled the planet.I will always hope that all the accusations are false. We'll never know and can only speculate. Only the Man upstairs is fit to judge us.On that note, Please refrain from negative posts.(I removed some posts. PM me if you really need an explanation.)

It was the first thing I heard when I woke up today,I still don´t wanna believe it.Michael´s music always had a huge influence on me,even today.I always looked up to him,I still remember me and my sister rocking out and jumping on the couch and around the living room when his videos came on back in the day.I still to this day fully believe in his innocence, and it sickens me that some people actually tried to ruin his career just to profit from it.Those people can go jump off the tallest building if you ask me.What´s wrong with trying to get in touch with your youth again? Hell, every grown man is nothing more but a big kid at heart, just as Michael was.Just look at toy collectors,or even mask collectors. We surround ourselves with these things because we used to love them as a child. We have our masks and toys,Michael had a fullbown amusement park for himself! He had the possibility to make his dreams come true because of his hard work in showbusiness. No one will ever be as big as he was, never. There's a reason he was,is,and forever will be,the King Of Pop.R.I.P Michael Jackson, your legacy will never be forgotten.

So heartbreaking to hear of his death...Yesterday I was sitting at a road stop and one of the restaurant workers told my bro's wife that Jackson was dead, when I heard I just could not believe it. Very sad. Scandals aside, the man was a genius. People who didn't grow up in the 80's might not fully understand how much of an impact he had on pop culture. It's sad that a lot of younger people will probably only remember him as wacko-jacko the supposed pedophile. There will never be another Michael Jackson. As we get older time tends to take more than it gives. So many great entertainers have left us over the past few years, and the death of Michael Jackson is quite frankly a kick in the nuts...I feel real bad for his Kids, and I hope they'll be taken care off. Those kids are hairs to everything Michael had, and you know people are going to try to exploit them, and I really hope that doesn't happen. What I'll remember of Michael Jackson is Thriller, Bad, and Moonwalker. I don't think the man had a real moments peace his entire life, fame, scandals, ect. A comforting thought for me is, now Michael Jackson is finally at peace, he can finally rest and be free of his fame.Rest well Michael.Jeff-

Really just terrible news, my best friend sent me a text when I was out and it just floored me. Another huge loss for the entertainment world, it's been a bad week. Michael was a troubled genius, he was a 50 year old 10 year old kid, and I don't think he had anyone in his life to guide his fragile state. He made bad decisions, I still strongly believe none of those acusations are remotly true, but a 45 year old man having sleep overs with kids like he was is not okay. But no one sat him down and explained why I don't think. No one was there to be his friend, and that pains me. The man is a music god, his work will live on forever, the impact he's made is staggering, it's his legacy, and my hope is more people remember that then the latter years. He changed the ground for all music, the music video, and dance, try to find one star from the last 20 years that doesn't site MJ as an influence. I actually credit him with starting my love of horror, monsters and makeup. When I saw the Thriller video as a kid it scared the HELL out of me, so much so my dad rented me the making of video, and it was in that I first saw how all this amazing stuff was done. Rest in peace Michael, hope you find what you never could here.

Things are starting to get volitile, we don't need any fights. I think people have said their piece, time to lock it.
