All you fledgling artists out there it's time to show your art off to the entire horror community. This contest is open to anyone and everyone that loves horror and loves art. Any form of art will be excepted this year, pencil, pen, crayon, chalk, etc. We will also accept digital forms of art such as photography and graphic design. The winner will have their artwork displayed on the HorrorBid and will get a horror DVD or Blu Ray movie of their choice.Entering the contest is simple. You can enter up to (5) different pieces of artwork. Again it can be in any media form. Honestly, what's the point when big named artists like Art By Mark or any other professional artists enter and automatically win. This contest doesn't give amateur artists any kind of chance. I think you should have a Pro and amateur contest for artists.

i really don't think they are that shallow lol . they'll judge also on the effort that the person does weither if they are 13 or 31 . artist skill doesn't matter as much as you giving it your best chance . Horrorbid are some real nice people and it's cool they are bringing this back for us . i have no idea what i'll paint up just yet but can we post the pics here too ? mike,

Hey guys, I understand were your coming from. Last year was a great contest and yes Art by Mark won the contest but the winner was chosen by an open vote, there wasn't much we could do. Not taking anything away from Mark he is a great talent. This year we are going to be awarding it based on our personal favorite choice and we will also be announcing winners for most original design, best color, etc. So there is many different ways to win. This is a fun contest to show off your work. Again thanks for the interest. Have a great week, Justin
