I collect high end sports cards and well on the forum I go to they have a trading system with a feedback system similar to ebay. If you are new to the forum with under 20 trades done you have to send first. I think it is a great system to have so you actually know how the person is you are dealing with and you and the person you are trading with must publicly agree to the trade by pressing confirm and then if one of the people get screwed the mods then step in and try to help it get resolved. There's some many bad deals/people getting ripped off these days, makes me wanna hang up the ol collection belt and move on.Andrew you should deff. let people know who this person is so we can watch out for him.You the most trust worth and nicest guy around here...i hate to see this happen to you. Trading is a very tuff/scary thing to do. It's only something i would do with my close friends that I talk to on the phone or have known for years.I hope you get what you are owed Andrew

Its really as simple as, if someone offers you cash or a trade, they send first... They're offering, so it's up to them if they want the piece. I've never sent first in a situation like this.

Sorry to hear about that experience. It happened to me on here once and I have decided that I wont be trading anything again period. Its a shame that someone you can be happily chatting away with through pms just becomes a different person once they've recieved your item and they disappear.

Conversely, if offering a trade, I would expect to be thr first to make shipment of my item. Everyone is also right, a rat is someone who gives someone up for selfish reasons. You would only b being an honest person. SOry this happened to you.
