    I decided to go ahead and do a pt 8 costume this year and make it from scratch. Everything you see pictured was done by hand aside from the stitching of the shirt (store bought Dickies). I originally started with the hockey mask, which was a blank from HorrorConcept. I painted it up last year, but added a bit more detail and a high gloss coat. I recently started to experiment with making burnt skin. At first I started w/ a flesh color oozing blood, but now I\'ve decided to do the screen accurate acid burned hippo gray color w/ flesh undertones. I will soon be working on the forearms and gloves. Everything is coming along nicely, but keep in mind I am not completely finished. I will be sure to post final pics before the big day! Enjoy these pics...

    Jason,

    My undermask was an old latex Myers pull. I simply cut out the face and did my own textures, veins, and paint... and voila! I have what you could call a decent undermask!

    how did ya make the patches of burn\'t skin was it straight latex or did you build it up with tissue paper and it might have been you in another topic i saw it was on like a guaze or some canvas ???details??? and also what did u use to get that glossy slimey effect on that outfit

    Dude! That costume is so sick! That was a really grat idea to make the Myers into the undermask... Brilliant actually. Can\'t wait to see finished pics.

    P.S. You did a great paint job on that hockey.
