This is going to be a great movie, Guys! That glove looks so brutal and heavy! Freddys face truley looks like the face of a burns patient, I think this is going to be the top of all remakes.-Chris

Child killers and molesters always beg and plead they did not do it when they are cornered, so that makes perfect sense to me that he would do that, and this looks really dark and sinister.I think it is going to be a great film.As far as changing the look of the clothes?That would be a huge mistake.I am so glad they remained completely faithful in that area.The glove is badass!!So far I am completely happy with what they came up with, especially the realism of the scars.As far as the comedy and wisecracking....no thanks, Fred should be angry, violent,and full of vengeance, not funny.

Jackie just mumbles more. He still walks like Robert does, and scrapes the walls like Robert, he is just not as fast and animated. I would label Jackie a "dumbed down more boring version" of Robert's Freddy. Although it may be more realistic, but realism is not always the best entertainment. You can a lot about that through online gaming. Nonetheless, I guess we will have wait and see the full movie to make a better assessment. But if you are not going to change much about Freddy's look, well then you should have just used Robert. Robert IS Freddy because he ingrained a lot of his own personality into the character.

Saying that after watching the trailer, i do see hints of Robert in his movement, but like sirbad says we can only watch the full movie to get a better view on his performance.
