That is odd, epsecially considering that Robert is about the age now that Wes originally wanted, actually he wanted even older. I am sure Freddy will appear in Robert's nightmares soon demanding that he play Freddy. He doesn't have to do stunts like he used to, just play te character.

This remake isn't Wes' film and the makers of this remake didn't want a 60-70 year old man playing Freddy. Robert is done playing Freddy... move on. Robert has. Who better to get a personal endorsement from than Robert himself?

I thought it looked great and promising, Jackie sounded like a true burn victim while talking.The movie looked to have a good ANOES atmosphere by the trailer...

I'm keeping this film completely separated from the films with Robert as Freddy since they're really not related at all.
