I simply shook my head at this: I got an email from someone who asked for these new blades to be used on his glove. I told him it would push the price of the glove upward to near $300. He responded by saying this:"You know what man, I was really looking forward to getting one of those gloves, but your just making this process harder than it has to be. I really hope you not being all difficult on purpose. And as far as you charging me DOUBLE the price, JUST to use a different type of steel, is ridiculous. But whatever, im still thinking of getting one but it wont be anytime soon. Thanx fer being honest, I guess."Simply understand this if any of you think the same... this feature is something that NO other glove builder has ever offered on a glove. I have never seen any glove maker ever use true surgical stainless steel for the blades on a Freddy Glove. Nightmaregloves.com uses really good steel for their blades but they are not like real knives. They do not flex and spring back into shape like the REAL Part 1 glove did. They are thicker than the blades used on the original glove as well. I have major issues with the template accuracy of Nightmaregloves.com as well. Kruegear was astronomically expensive when they were in business and their blades weren't really that great and I personally feel that the templates on their Part 1 glove were inaccurate. So, it makes perfect sense to expect to pay around $300 - $350 for a hand-crafted glove that offers much more accurate templates AND true knife steel that offers an extremely accurate and custom realism to the glove. If you want HIGH-END features to be used on your glove, expect to pay HIGH-END prices. It's basic logic. You can't get a Lexus for the price of a Dodge Neon.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndTo be honest Mark, I think that is a great price for such an accurate glove in terms of the materials used. Seriously if people pay well into the thousands for a KD/DW Myers Mask, then why cant people pay 300-350 for a really great looking glove with top notch blades?-Chris

I don't think the price is bad at all especially with those surgical blades considering that many years ago I purchased a Kruegear Part 1 for around that same price!

Well here goes my first post. I decided to treat myself to a Freddy pt. 1 glove since NOES pt. 1 is my favorite movie of all time. After starting my web research not long in I found this board and Mark's stuff on YouTube. I honestly had no idea if anyone even made gloves, let alone accurate ones or that this community even existed SO I'm beyond excited. I cannot wait to order the hero deluxe with these new and AMAZING blades when it's ready and expect to pay 300-350 for it. Your an artist Mark and I can't wait to order, even though my girlfriend thinks I've lost my mind.

The basic version will be $275. It will basically be a Deluxe Hero with the high-quality blades and real beveling. I will offer upgrades if you so choose, such as having the blades spot polished so it has a complete mirror finish. This will push the glove to $300. Then, the second model will be a glove for $325 and it will feature 20 oz copper (instead of 16 oz for the basic model) and non-spot polished blades. And then for $350, it will come with the polished blades. So, it'll offer everyone some choices.

It's nice to know that you will be offering several versions! Hopefully in the future when I have some extra cash I'll be able to purchase your top of the line model.

LOL It's ridiculous how people complain about the price jump, since it's really not that bad in this hobby compared to a lot of other things. If I understand correctly, Mark is still offering his other gloves with different steel blades for half the price? So what's the problem? Besides, just take a look at the MYERS MASK prices. The AVERAGE is $250. And with the recent times, the prices just SOARED. KH, DB, the new KH- all these new masks are over a grand EACH.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is it vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-a-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

I'm just focusing on my Part 1 right now. Completely possible that my Part 4 will have this available sometime. But the cost for getting these blades is quite high for me so I'm taking it slowly. I'll probably only allow 1-2 orders at a time for these high-end gloves since they take a lot more time to make.
