Anyone have this on Blu Ray?Is it worth upgrading too from the standard darkskys release? I've been stung a couple of times of late with bluray titles especially in the picture quality department and just want to make sure its worth the $$ <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I have it and thought it was worth the upgrade, Maybe you should rent it first to see if it is worth it to you.

I haven't seen the blu ray version but if you ask me the old grainy quality is what makes the movies, it makes it feel more raw. I'm not sure if better quality would ruin this or not...

The picture is perfect, like a moving 70's Polaroid picture.I found the sound to be amazing on this one too. Kinda of a whole new movie. Same with the original Friday the 13th. There will always be a limitation to how good the video can be due to source material, but the Lossless sound on these low budget movies is like hearing it for the first time if you have the right gear. These are prime examples because even though they were low budget a lot of care was put into the original music and sound FX.With a few exceptions of films "dumped" on to Blu-ray from old DVD and cable masters, if you don't see and hear the difference Blu-ray makes over DVD then your audio/video rig is the problem, or your TV is simply to small to appreciate the difference.
