@ scream4me. That's because, as far as I know, it's the responsibility of the recieving countries customs to check whats coming into said country. Unless its fruit or vegetables or drugs customs is pretty lax on outgoing mail. And Adee sorry to hear about the loss man....can't count the 'horror' stories i've read about UK customs and props....so sad.

Its really stupid that no one in the custom can tell its a PROP... not a leathal weapon.... a killer replica that makers put a lot of energy to make them to end up being destroy... Its like if you order an amazing painting and getting it destroy... such a shame that a piece of art will never be seen again.I'm really sorry to hear that <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> Its really suck.

Wow this is totally messed up, but I thought something was up over there with customs. Looks like I'll have to put a post up on the site to let UK buyers know. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> Sorry to hear about this Adee...

there has to be a way around this. If you were working on the most recent nightmare film and had to have a glove brought in due to an emergency ie replacement scenario you would have to be able to get it somehow. Maybe sending them in a display box, or maybe dipping the blades in plasti dip that when they are inspected the blades acually look and feel like plastic till they are peeled away. There has to be a solution to this. Send the blades separately and have them soldered once they are there maybe? I mean really, do they have knives in the UK, cause certainly if I was to want to kill someone I would grab a butcher knife over a freddy glove any day of the week. Stupid government aholes. No brains whatsoever. I am sorry to all the UK collectors. Eventually the US won't be any better. As government gets bigger, freedom gets smaller.

thats exactly the argument i had with the guy at the customs office,i said to him if i was ordering kitchen knifes would they be destroyed too? he didnt have an anwser for that, its a joke to think of someone running round killing people with a freddy glove on!! i dont even think u could cut your finger on them lol they did say that if i was using it for making a film or something to do with uni work that they would let it in? i didnt understand that cause i could still be a pyscho that wanted to go on the rampage whether i was a student or not its totally messed up

    look at this <u>3 months ago</u>: <b>UK border agency</b> 30 december 2009:<a href=\"http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/6910871/Customs-officials-seize-Freddy-Krueger-claws.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/691...eger-claws.html</a>it reads:<i> "The claws are similar to those worn by Robert Englund in Wes Craven's Nightmare On Elm Street films."</i>hmmm i wonder in which A.N.O.E.S. film Robert Englund has worn <u>"similar"</u> claws like that...... <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sick\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sick.gif\" /> i guess <u>they</u> are no Freddy fans/collectors.i mean what would happen <b>for example</b> if i was living in the UK and if i was buying a <b>screen used</b> hero glove from america then it would be seized and destroyed. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sick.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sick\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sick.gif\" /> = destruction of movie history. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ermm.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":ermm:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"ermm.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/down.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"down.gif\" />
