Yeah, it does retain a metallic look overall - just not exact to the film. But still a bada$$ piece, to be sure. Worth having, if you're a big fan.

I would just like to know if the masks I saw on his table were replicas that he offers for sale, or actual film used masks. Oh... and a price if they are replicas (from movie mold?).

Count me in as well. I love Bava's Demons, and can never have enough stuff. A more screen-accurate piece with better paint would be of definite interest to me.

Well I finally received a response from Sergio. :confused:

He said he does offer resin copies cast from the actual movie mold. Castings are either coated in a layer of real silver or nickel. The silver copy is 800 Euros (approx. $1100) and the nickel copy is 700 Euros (approx. $970)!!
I wan't expecting it to be that expensive so it looks like I'm out of the market for one of his copies. Perhaps someone could still confirm with him at the convention.

That's frikkin insane! For that price, it ought to be able to truly turn folks into actual demons!!! :laugh:

Crazydog, do pry and find out more. I'd love to know how many he's actually sold at such a price. Not very many, if any, I'd wager. That's just effing nuts. I might actually consider one at even roughly half that price, but certainly no more than that. Ridiculous!
