Well, I can\'t say much yet, but I suppose I\'ll have an announcement to make regarding this mask within the next few days. Anyone who has serious interest in its history, provenance, or mold origin, keep on the lookout for any updates here in the Madmen section.
Thanks for looking and cheers,

A recast is definitely the next best thing to owning a real movie-molded or screen-used mask, in almost all cases. However, I think it would have to be a slightly modified recast for this piece in the sense that the "off-center" forehead vent hole will need to be filled. Everything else is pretty much perfect, in my eyes, but that hasn\'t been confirmed just yet...There\'s still a chance it could be an INCREDIBLY WELL-MADE fake. I have to wait a bit longer for my research to yield some results.
Regardless of the fact that it\'s an original production gift mask from 1986, I simply can\'t afford to hang on to this right now. I\'m going to have to reconsign it. I\'ll take a lot of photos for documentation purposes, though. Sorry to everyone who was excited for this!
