I\'m pretty good at weathering the leather,but not much experence with the metal parts.I can e-mail ya pics of some I\'ve done if you like.

kinda looks glued. I\'d love to know how to weld onto copper that thin without destroying the copper.

well there\'s something holding it on, you can see it inside the fingertips. But if that\'s soldered then it\'s the most spotless perfect soldering job I\'ve ever seen, cuz I don\'t see any.

It could epoxy mixed with silver paint. It could be spot welded. Who knows.

I don\'t see any charring or anything though. Who knows.
