As far as Boba Fett helmets go...the older Don Post ones are the best...like the 1995 and 1996 ones, they are pretty rare nowadays though...

Im pretty sure the Don Posts are better than Rubies overall...

Either way you go they still need a lotta work, replacing the T-visor, range finder, complete repaint, and linning so they don\'t warp. Probably your best bet would be to keep checking ebay till you a find a good fiberglass helmet.

Don post and rubies are mostly crap. I suggest hooking up with the REplica prop forum or finding a website to learn about the props. The fan made masks are far superior to the Don post versions

That\'s strange, since most of the fan made helmets are recasted or customized Don Post ones. LOL

Yah that\'s true but they usually are casted in better materials and highly customized. Depends on who you go to of course. Getting into Star Wars helmets isn\'t the easiest thing. Also, a lot of the buckets that are worth a lot were cast off the screen used helmets (ie. Stormtrooper). If I eventually begin a search for an ANH Stormtrooper helmet there\'s no way i\'ll be buying a Classic Action helmet or a recast of it. I\'d buy a recast of a screen used helmet

yeah but fan masks have more time put into them if you get them from a diehard SW fan there way better than Rubies and DP
