What makes Myers masks turn yellow?
i\'ve always noticed a lot of SSN masks turn yellow within time, why is that? *Note* Not trying to bash SSN in any kind of way.

Mask rott? Room temp, household conditions, the type of paint they use.

I was told it\'s the paint they use. EVERY single mask I got from SSN has turned yellow within a 6 month time. (Pumpkinhead, Deckard and H20 KNB Version)
These masks were kept away from light in a closet with a black trash bag covering each mask. I hope the same does not turn out for the pople who got the $1000 \'Blood\' busts. But, since MMI painted them, they should be ok.

Yeah. I never had that problem. Im also told its ciggarette smoke too

Maybe SSN likes to smoke the J\'s while they\'re fixing up their masks... lord knows I would if I had to sit there and paint and hair masks all day.

My Curse is an early SSN piece and it is yellow but I think thats how they painted it. The retired pic of it on the site deppicts a yellow paint scheme on it. The only way I can see latex turning yellow from being white is a smoking enviroment and very very old. I don\'t think it has anything to do with there paint.

soem old moster makers paint i used on a H8 about 3-4 years ago tunred yellow after a year..but i have had my h5 for a year now and it still looks the same as it did when i got it but my curse is greysih white adn hasnt chagned so i dunno maybe they paint different
