Got A Jason X Neca Hockey Mask In Today

Now I know why they say it\'s not wearable. My nose was flattened by this thing to where I had to completely breathe through my mouth. This is the thickest hockey mask I\'ve ever seen. If you look at the holes around the mouth area you\'ll see what I\'m talking about. Not to mention the heaviest, as it\'s a little over a pound by itself. The straps are thin couch leather (strapped on the outside for some reason), and held on by plastic [EDIT: They\'re metal] pieces. They just BARELY fit around my head, it was a pretty tight squeeze. The paintjob is ok, but very inferior to what we\'re used to around here (you can tell it was done in about 3 minutes). But a little repaint and sticking some good straps on the inside of it, and you got a Hockey Mask that looks cool but still squashes your nose .I guess you can grind off a bit of that thickness inside the nose area for more room. What am I saying overall? In it\'s current state, I give this mask a 2 1/2...............out of 5.

The straps on yours are held on by plastic? Mine were held on by metal rivits (but I still got them off hehe).

Being that it\'s cast off Kane\'s screen used mask, there\'s three possible reasons it could be squishing your nose:

1) The super tight unadjustable straps are pulling it too close to your face

2)The super thick casting is leaving no room for your nose

3)Your nose is just too big.

I\'ve never seen Kane complain that HIS nose was all squished. LOL!

The problem is that it\'s too thick. If you see inside the mask, there is barely a dip where your nose is supposed to be. The staps ARE very tight to where I just barely made it on my head. I have a short stubby nose, lol. I looked at the bits holding the straps once more very closely, and they may yet be metal. The tops of the pieces gave the illusion of bending, when in fact it was the whole piece that shifted.

I wish they would of got the triangle right, other that that it\'s pretty cool.

Anyone know if the \'Jason/Freddy\' mask looks as good. I can\'t tell in those shots they put out.

Stay FAR away from the fvj Hockey Mask. You could make one just like it with a styrofoam plate. haha. Unless you\'re talking about the set with the glove, where I don\'t know either.

Here\'s the unremovable, unwearable NECA FvsJ mask removed and being worn by the EFEXALIVE GoodSon. As you can see, contrary to popular belief, the mask is NOT super small (not sure who started that stupid rumor), NOT non-removable, and comes fully strapped with leather straps. The casting, detail, and shape are right on, but the paintjob could use a little work (the triangle on this copy is a bit crooked).

hey guys,

where is everyone getting these neca X masks? I heard someone say spencer\'s but i have yet to find one at the spencer\'s here. Any info would be grealy appreciated

not sure those are around outside of new england...
