Hey Boiles and Ghouls,
after being chassed by snakes and running up ladders all night last night. I had a lot of time to think about different things... You know how it is.. I was struck with a question that i was sure one, if not many of you guys would have the answer to my question. So to all the Jason heads on this board. Does anyone know, how the idea of Jason wearing a Hockey Mask came abouts? We all know the story behind Myers and Bubba. But what about Jason? I know that in part 2, he was made to look like the \'elephant man\' with the look of his face plus the sack. But the Hockey Mask i\'m clueless about. So... If any one knows. This is the post to spill the beans in. :wink:

Well not the idea behind it really, but what made them decide to use that mask. Like myers. They decided between that clown mask and the Shatner. Bubba.. well that\'s from Gein. I\'m just curious as to why a hockey goalie mask for Jason?

and the white mask thing seemed to be working pretty good for Myers. Much as I love Friday, it did start off as kind of a HalloweeN rip off. Both named after holidays. Both stalkers. Blank white mask.

damn choptop i got the answer but i gotta find my second most recent issue of rue morgue well it was about the canadian horror history. and your answeris well i cant remember the name but well one guy (who i cant recall) but he was working on the 3-d versions and effects for Friday the 13th 3-d and he suggested a hockey mask and to honour the canadians national sport i will tryand find it but i may have lost it
