    Hey Guys

Well I\'ve just finished my latest little project and the Star Wars collection has just grown by one more. Just this week I received my second Rubies Tie Pilot helmet, the first I gave a make-over but kept is as a Tie but this one\'s had a total transformation and is now my AT-AT Driver lid. Once again the shape of the helmet out of the box was a bit special, I\'m starting to think they kick the damn things from the mold shop to the paint shop  but it was nothing a few clamps and spreaders and a little lovin\' from the hot air gun couldn\'t take care of. This was a real fun project and while I was waiting for the lid to arrive I\'ve been sourcing and making a few bits and bobs, had to take a few liberties here and there as some of the details are damn hard to make out, let alone track down but it\'s all come together great and I\'m really pleased with this one. Couple of things I\'d do different if I was to do another but still I\'m a happy chappy Confusedweat:

Quick catalogue shot of the helmet as I got it. Forgot to snap a pic myself

And here it is, the Rubies Tie convert to AT-AT driver

Also while I\'m here I also received another Stormtrooper lid this week, a Fallano \'Stunt\' and it\'s a beauty. The guy I bought it from did a real nice job assembling it with accurate hovi tips and cut and meshed teeth. Real nice piece and I love it. The size is also more accurate, especially compared to my FX lid and you can see the size difference in the group shot below.

    Well on with the pics

And then there we\'re 6 Cool

I love that display Andy, a real treat looking at it...
I went home to NI recently, my ma and da are selling the family home and so I had to sojourn up to the roofspace to get my gear out. I found all of my star wars stuff...my Mill falcon is perfect (and this is all late 70\'s stuff) my at-at is perfect, and even found my Yoda\'s swamp.Smile Towards the end of my clearing I began to recall a box of figures....and was losing heart a bit and then I found it, complete with a chess box full of weapons, staffs etc. ....
Loved star wars, and your post makes me realise I love it still....the older flicks anywaySmile
