Part 8 Straps

well, not really obsessing over it, but like myers-san said, I\'d like to do them right. I have two part 8 undermasks coming, and plan on getting two blanks and making another 2 part 8\'s. I have the back buckles now, and would like to do them right. Is anyone really going to care? Probably not. Would anyone in this podunk town know the difference? Hell no. But I would, and just want to do it right.

If you were to sand down the inside corners with a coarse sanding drum on your Dremel and then go back over it with a little gold leaf enamel, you\'ll get a slightly more accurate version of the halter square when compared to the screen used version.

why do that when you can buy them like the screen used??...so i was studying this screen cap to death for a long time and frankly it is a mystery but i will give it my best shot...

the strap seems to go OVER the buckle, then it seems to have 2 holes for the little metal peice for the buckle to go through and then on to the d ring...so basically it is one peice just being held on by kane\'s head and the strap needle on the buckle...not hard to duplicate but prob\' won\'t looka as nice in person.

by the way..anyone know what kind of leather those straps are made of?? just curious.

Whatever it is, it\'s thin. Might not even be leather. And you\'re right, the buckle pin is going through 2 holes.
