It\'s looking great, although some of the forms in the head and expecially near the eyes look off to me.

What do you mean by off? I\'d like to correct it. Give me an example please.

Alright for one thing, the stable directly under the left eye, is really pulling and stretching the flesh back tightly I don\'t get a sense of that from your sculpture. Also the cheek bone on the right side it looks like the appliance sinks in more under it. Also the the forms of the jaw lines do not have enough depth. Essentially, your sculpture is very accurate in placement of forms and details, but not in depth. Look at the gums for instance they are very linear, the details are all there, but theres no curve to the gums themself, no bone structure if you will. To me it looks almost like you\'re sculpting too much from front angles, bust out the profile pics, and correct the depth of the sculpture. You\'re definately doing a good job, don\'t get me wrong I\'m just trying to help out a bit.
I think perhaps you rushed into detailing before you got your forms perfect.

I assure you that I didn\'t rush anything in this sculpture. I took my time and studied my screenshots carefully. Problem is, that there was more than one mask used during filming, and it differs slightly from scene to scene which makes it difficult to capture the look accurately in one mask. Kind of like an H1 mask I suppose. Anyway, I did a couple of small adjustments to his shape and took a pic. The gums were actually very detailed when I made them, but after spraying water on the face over and over, it lost its depth unfortunately. But when I add the teeth all that will be fixed up good as new. I took the pic below in roughly the same kind of lighting situation as the screen shot. Keep in mind I am not finished with the chest yet, and it differs a bit from the actual cap. I have already started work to correct it.

i would maybe resize the holes of skin just under his chin/neck area . it just looks to me like the pic on the left has smaller ones then the sculpture . but that you may already know as you said you are still working on that part . i just thought i would point that out .
mike, awesome sculpture man and i still want to buy a bust from you when done . just start thinking of a price for him as it looks like your almost finished .
