I\'m pretty sure I\'ve had this mask for just about 20 years, so I guess this is my first piece (I\'m just now getting into collecting). Got it for Halloween that year, but well...it\'s seen better days. I thought I\'d post some pics to see if any of you guys can tell me anything about it. It has the following text stamped into the latex on the back...

"1984 The New Line - Heron Venture
O/B/A The Third Elm Street Venture"

Kinda contradicting since the \'third\' Nightmare was released in 1987, but I\'m not sure that\'s what it means. Anyway...on with the show!

I had to wear one of them sumbitches for 7 hours straight, 3 days a week, for a whole month and a half at the haunted house I worked at.

Anyway, Ive always thought this was a pretty cool mask, and Ive always wanted to see how it would look with a nice repaint. Yours seems to be in nice shape for 20 years. Smile

Hmmm.... I do believe that is the toothless redneck COPS edition Freddy. Just picture him sluggin down cans of Pabst and sitting in an old Nova on blocks in front of some random trailer park.

Yeah, mine would need too much TLC. I was just looking it over...has quite a few small tears and a lot of paint has flaked off. Was pretty sweet at one time.

LOL, yeah, he needs some new dentures!

If you want you could always send it away to be repainted. There are amazing artists out there who\'d be happy to give a re-paint for money of course and there is this one guy here named mike (Ibethatoneguy) and he re-paints masks for free so there are alot of choices if you want to that is.
