Yeah I can think of a few people on the board that have backed out of stuff with me... oh can you hold it for me for a few days till I get paid? Few days later... oh I already got it...

Personally if I cant pay for something right away... Ill send whoever a bit of $$$ as a promise payment... then pay the rest asap, if the seller is cool with that... Not like some of these guys that say they\'ll pay in a few days and back out...

hell yeah heretic, that just happened to me. i\'m tired of this bullshit too. i think the mods should pin a topic listing bad business people. not just if they say, \'my mom had a bad accident, i need to help her out\', but if they are like, \'yeah, i\'ll buy it\' then two weeks later... \'sorry i found a better deal\' or \'can you hold it longer\'.
krazedkilla - you might be an exception but most people out of your age bracket want things and never have the money for them, so they make offers despite that fact. i know there are a few great kids on here, but the rest of them are annoying and pull shit like not going through with buying something. its like they don\'t think business amongst fans like us is as serious as if they bought an xbox from walmart... walmart won\'t hold shit for them, and i think we shouldn\'t either.

man i just got into this hobby & i can say that i love it. i will never try to rip someone off or try to buy something i dont have the money for. it saddens me to see some people will try and do this and if you dont have the money don\'t even look at it! your 100% right that most people out of my age bracket want things and never have money for them and this is one of the reasons why I just went and applied for a job at Checkers Restaurant, lol. i am just plain sick of not having any money to buy the things that i want but i will never do something like this. i feel for your Heretic and I am sorry that some kid\'s have no common sense in life.

You have to understand dude, fucking shit happens. Sometimes shit DOES come up and money can be an issue. In case anyone is wondering the person he is adressing is me. A MEMBER of this board who I think you all know owes me money and said he\'d send it but did he? No. When I wanted the masks from Heretic here the money was supposed to be on it\'s way but he didn\'t send it wich pissed me off because I didn\'t want Heretic to think I was some dead beat. Very true and from now on i\'m not doing it. The dude I was supposed to get the cash from me and him did like literally 40 trades and everything went great but out of all those trades this time it had to happen to me.

I wouldn\'t mind people pulling out so much if they simply left an honest e-mail or pm letting me know they are pulling out and why. I had AT LEAST 3-4 people pm me with requests to purchase the first MonsterVision DVD, and then never get back to me, despite numerous polite replies from me requesting an update.
