I thought this movie was better than it\'s predecessor.  It made more sense with none of the Dr. Satan business and none of those weird technicolor clips between scenes.  I don\'t feel that the \'Fireflies\' are very likeable characters.  Sadistically torturing, raping, humiliating, and violently murdering people isn\'t really a good personality characteristic.

yea but we all like Jason, freddy, myers and bubba, and HELL bubba eats people.And there are a lot of Hanibal lecter fans also, its just that people like different things and some people love the actors and will love whatever character they play.

Go ahead say what you want about this. I just saw it with Kevin today, and I was very disappointed! I do not plan on seeing this again, this movie almost annoyed me. Rob Zombie is not that great at writing, but his directing talent is amazing! I mean don\'t get me wrong, it was still a pretty cool movie, but it\'s not in my must see again horror movie list.

I saw this movie earlier tonight and I thought it kicked ass, Rob Zombie is a hell of a writer and it really fucking shows; theres not alot of people who can instill a sense of sympathy for a group of mass murderers. TDR is old school horror, it learned from all of house\'s mistakes,

shayne is right ,to make a film with the sickest type a person as a human, without being a dead zombie or demon type character is hard enough to make somone with that sense of sick sadistic humor and in there mind there perfectly normal.Then the story goes by and u yourself feel almost bad for them and see them still staying a family to the end,and it makes u feel weird for feeling sypathy for them its not your run of the mill horror flick

I LOVED the film!! I myself loved the story as well. I loved the way Rob zombie directed it. My opinion- was the best movie i have seen this year. i just loved the fact that you got to see more of the characters feelings and thoughts in a way. Also SPOILER. when otis was pretty much raping tha women at the hotel and he put the gun in her panties, you felt like you were there and you could feel what the women was feeling and how scared she was- very good acting,--Baby was great in this film. I personally just love her character. plus shes hot as hell so who doesnt want to see a crazy, deranged hot bitch on a killing rampage? I loved how otis played more of a big brother type of character in this one. he loved to have fun and kill but at the same time he was more worried about keeping his family safe. Sid haig in this one was amazing as well. I liked the fact that you could see that he was a crazy ass killer as well as a father. just tha way Rob zombie directed it was briliant! i loved the location, the story, the feel of the movie. the deaths, Everything!! Great movie!! "in my opinion"
