Quote:Yes I do agree its important to be good to the enviroment. It\'s bad if we would want to elivate the gas prices. The fact is we can get all the oil we want right now, but we can\'t refine it since we can\'t build more refineries due to certain acts. Trust me I see both sides of the situation. Its great to help the enviroment, but when people are having to empty their pockets out 50 dollars to fill up a gas tank nature could be put on the back burner for some time. It just sucks I remember when I first started driving and gas was less then a dollar a gallon, now its up 300%.

Right screw the enviroment I want to able to drive around in my gas burning SUV with the air conditioning on at full blast polluting the world and I want to pay $0.89 a gallon. Damn you Clinton and your thoughts about the future and quality of life for the next generations.
Lowest gas price here is $2.50 and that\'s at ONE gas station. Everywhere else is like over $3.00. The one here for $2.50 has a line a mile long though.
I\'ve been walking to the store lately. No way am I going to drive the car. I\'m only using the car for band practice and work, nothing else! I can\'t spend that much money on gas, who can? Eventually they will lower the gas price guys, once they see less and less gas being sold they will have to lower it due to a loss of money. Luckily, on my way home from band practice today, I saw 4 gas stations for about 2.00 dollars! It seems there actually getting lower right here, for some reason. I guess we\'ll so what happens!
I dont think it\'s the end of the world, and I do think so good can come from this. People will start walking more for one thing, and it will take care of some of the people who just go for joy rides. And they will find an alterante fuel source. There are aleady hybrids and electric cars. As soon as enough people get fed up and refuse to pay those prices for gas, the prices willd rop, or they will work harder to find an alternate source so they can keep getting money. If scientists can find a way to make hydrogen from water, then that will most likely be the new fuel source.
