This sure is coming out of nowhere...

I thought that a part 6 mold was used to make the part 7s?...This is all odd. I\'ve heard that for years, until now. That, and I thought Reel FX owned the original mold, which is now supposed to be in the hands of David Miller.


I don\'t know what to think of all this.

That\'s because those masks are all exactly the same as my blank I bought from Jason Hanks, minus the different colors. They\'re also exactly the same as the blanks that Mike and I are offering, except that those others are from an actual buck pulled from the original mold itself. Ours were pulled from an identical buck, therefore look the same, but our buck wasn\'t physically pulled from the original 82 mold. It\'s complicated, but both are just as authentic as the other.

I know for CERTAIN that this mask of mine is a part 6 pull. It has to be, because everything about it is too perfect.

Like I said, I don\'t know what to think.

same buck as your pull..they were either made for part 6 or made for part 7(which they all had to trim down to the 7 shape we come to know of) or made for the hell of it to make money and flood the market..becasue i was told by CJ all the mask in 6 were white so the reds and blacks werent pulled for 6 maybe 7 if not then there made recently to cash in

I can see how this would all work. It makes sense now that I\'ve thought about it. That basically means that my blank is a:

A.) first generation part 3,
B.) first generation part 4,
C.) first generation part 6,
D.) first generation part 7.

Hell. Talk about killing birds with stones, I got four in one shot. =D

I wouldn\'t mind owning another one, but damn...I wouldn\'t want any color except white, and I can\'t afford to pay $400 for ...well, anything. hehe.

yep all 6\'s were white the 2 3\'s were white so im guessing the 7\'s were different colors or this guy owns the mold and is makign copies
