Hey guys. I\'m at a relative\'s house at the moment and have quick access to the internet. As a few of you know, i live in Grand Isle, Lousiana. It\'s a 7 mile island on the coast. We got hit extremely hard by Katrina, and most of the island is gone. I\'ve lived there nearly my whole life (21 years) and it is like walking into the twilight zone because almost everything is demolished. We had no protection against this storm. My house has a huge amount of damage and it is unlivable. We will not be able to live in our homes for at least 4 months, but likely more. There is no electricity, running water, phone, or gas. The bridge that connects to the mainland shifted and can only be accessed by walking over it or 4 wheeler, which is taking a big chance. There are boats in people\'s houses, all of the shrimp sheds and people\'s trawlboats are destroyed, so it took a lot of resident\'s livelyhood. I am basically in a state of shock and don\'t know what to do really. Hopefully fema or someone will help us out with some financial aid as we are now jobless, homeless, and have to rent an apartment somewhere with what stuff we still have. The nemesis mask will be on hold until I can get a place of residence (whenever that will be), and i\'m sorry about that. Things just got bad really fast. I just hope things will get better soon. Take care guys, and to everyone who was affected by this storm, I hope you and your family will pull through this hard time and wish you all the very best.
