    I\'m still waiting too.
Both my wife and sister keep nagging me. Telling me to email him and just say frig it....Send the money back that I originally sent him. I\'ve bawlked at it over the past few months, but comeon now. Here it is, SEPTEMBER, and still nothing? How freaking LONG does it take to get latex?!?!?!?!????
Seriously, it\'s damn near the point where I could live without the masks anymore. I could have used the cash to get other things.
I really, REALLY feel for anyone who\'s had to wait this long, and LONGER.
Good luck all. Keep us updated.

Thanks Bull, and I know there are other people who have waited and are waiting even longer then me from other makers.....and I dont mean to bitch or anything....

I ordered back around Christmas, and the last time I got a reply from him was a month or two after that, and SUPPOSEDLY, my mask was ready, jsut needed to be shipped, then the story changed to it was pulled and needed to be painted, and now, he cant pull anything because he doesnt have latex. I mean, what can ya do? Im sure Ill get it eventually, but I mean come on....

When I first got into this, I asked around other boards for "who\'s fast, who takes too long", and no one wanted to say anything. I think threads like this, as long as they don\'t get lynch mob-ish, are a decent idea.

I\'m new. My first mask was from Justin, and it arrived less than two months after my order was placed. A Hockey Mask from JDF studios? Also around two months, and he got stabbed or something in the middle of that. Third mask was ITZ-U from DahOne, and it took maybe three months, and was worth every day of waiting. Fourth mask is from Lee Romaire, and I got an email saying it\'s shipping this week - less than a month after I ordered. I got a part 1 Freddy From Mark, but bought it third party, and it was already made. That showed up four days after I paid for it.

I think the only one I\'ll be waiting a while on is the Psycho, because I\'m near the bottom of a very LOOOOOONG list...

In other words, I\'ve been really lucky. You guys that have been around the block shouldn\'t be afraid to let folks know what to expect when they order from a mask maker. I see poor newbs looking to order Halloween masks in August, hoping to get it in two months\' time. Someone should tell them they\'ll be getting it in time for their unborn kid to wear it trick or treating...

I\'m not picking on Aaron, just stating the facts about the biz.
Being a mask maker of 10 years, I have some sense when it comes to all of this.
My customers wait, at most a month to 6 weeks, almost always way less.
Latex is not hard to get- I know of several suppliers who can get it to you in a week at most. I buy my latex in large bulk and they can get it to me in less than 2 weeks. I\'m talking 200 + gallons of latex. So, anyone who tells you they are having trouble getting latex, are not trying too hard.
A true mask maker is dedicated to serving his customers and not trying make any excuses. I heard an old mask maker say something wise- If someone likes your work enough to pay you money for it, you should at least give the common curtosity to make the product and send it to them.
I don\'t know Aaron, so really this is not directed toward him. Just some words from the DarkSide. Thanks for reading.

You couldn\'t have said it better, man. I agree 100% with you and I wish all of the mask makers would think and act the way you do.
