Well, I went and seen Superman Returns last night. I seen the late showing of it for less of a crowd so I could really enjoy it better.
Anyway... I was far from disappointed with this film... I will admit, I had a lot of flashbacks of the old Cris Reeve films when watching this movie. But I thought they stuck to the formula very well. Routh played a real good Kent/Superman. He stuck to a lot of the traits that Chris had brought to the older films, so I was real pleased with that. I wasn\'t too sure about Routh, but I think he filled the shoes quite well.
Spacey as Luther... Now this was weird. I was unsure about this one. Spacey is known for some of his sister roles, so it was no surprise to me he was able to pull this role off. I thought Spacey played an awesome Luther. Spacey brought a more sinister evil to the character then what I was used to from the previous films, so I was real happy with is portrayal of Luther..
Well, times have changed. Things are,\'t the way they were growing up. I\'ve never been real good with changes, but if more were made to be more enjoyable as this was, maybe life could be a bit more simpler..
I highly recommend seeing this film, especially if you were a Fan of the Older films. I don\'t think anyone would truly be disappointed with this film....
Peace,
-Ray
