    Hey!
On my PC at home, I suddenly can\'t see pictures posted on message boards (at first just ezBoard, but now it\'s doing it here at NIGHTOWL too). Also while in Hotmail it sometimes won\'t give me the option to compose in HTML, and when that happens it won\'t even let me send email. I\'ve run virus scans - nothing. Ran AdAware and SpyBot Search and Destroy - nothing.

    Any ideas?

Maybe a firewall blocking the images? I bet it has something to do with internet settings, but I don\'t know. As for Hotmail, no idea.

Tried rebooting your PC yet? You may need to clear out your cache and temporary internet files also. What browser are you using? Try a new browser like Firefox or Opera and see if you can see images there. If all else fails..... format.

    Windows XP, I assume?

Hehe, leave the formatting as a last resort.

Try firefox as suggested to see if the problem exists there (I assume you use IE).

Use crapcleaner & cleanup to clean out all of your temp files...both free.

You can try reinstalling IE, use method 2.

Sorry I can\'t help more right now...no time.

Yup, I mainly use IE Explorer, but the same thing happens with Mozilla Firefox too. I\'ve rebooted, cleaned out the caches, etc - nothing. I have not tinkered around with the firewall settings, so I\'ll look at that when I get home. LOL

Yeah man it sounds like it could be your firewall. What program are you using, or are you using a router? My father had ZoneAlarm installed on his PC, and he messed it up so bad it wouldn\'t let connect to the Internet at all. It was a pain cleaning it out of the registry.

Yes, they\'re called bookmarks...when you install FF, you have the option of importing IE favorites.

Thanks for the suggestions. I figured it out. It was McAffe Privacy Service. It must have automatically downloaded an update that changed the settings on me.
