Well, being broke is sometimes the best way to spend a holiday 
My wife had to work today
Our daughter made her a, um, one of those things we all made with clay and then baked out in kindergarten. Remember those? A hand made 7 page mothers day card and a couple of really cute drawings (shes such a great artist).
I sketched a \'copy\' of a film cell from Peter Pan (Tinkerbell, 1953) grabbed a frame from Michaels for 3 bucks on sale and it looks SWEET. She likes Tinkerbell and Disney stuff. Tossed her a little cash to do a little clothes shopping as well.
We saw a HUGE print at Disney a while back that she really liked. It was like $1500..... I took some pics of it for her. They came in handy. I havent painted like this in a long time so it felt pretty good to get back at it!
