Yeah I know when my student got a liver transplant they gave him like, 1/2 a liver and it regrew the rest. But yeah, damage is permanent.
Kinda seems wierd, like a contradiction. But I\'ve always heard alchohol liver damage is permanent. And being half irish, I\'ve definetely got some folks in the family that love thier drinks so I was always kinda worried about em. Especially my uncle, I think he drinks like a 12 pack a night, every night, for as long as I\'ve known, and I\'m 29. So I always worry about what he\'s done to himself. My family has a loong, looooong, history of addiction. My Grandma went through what this guys mom is going through now. It\'s very hard. I was only about 10 when she went into detox, but I remember how hard it was for her and what a big deal it was.
Gotta love a country where it seems like the most dangerous \'drugs\' i.e., Cigs and Liquour are completely legal.
I wish we were more like Denmark.
