I recently purchased my first silicone mask and today when I was showing it to someone I was putting it back on the head CFX sent with it and noticed a tiny hole between the lip and the nostril. It doesn't go all the way through the mask or anything and I'm not sure it's a tear because without any stress on it it is a circle and not a line like a normal tear. I was thinking that it might be where an air bubble proabably formed while they where making it. I just don't want this to turn into a big problem or anything. If it is worth buying my own silicone to fill the small hole I will.
What do you guys think?
The quickest way to fix this is to go to your local Lowes, home depot, or any hardware store that sells caulking supplies. find GE Silicone-I(1)caulk. Make sure you get the one that says clear. Take a tooth pick and stretch the mask so you can see the hole and put a small dab in the hole. Then let the mask return to its normal shape and make sure you smooth and flatten the dab out. and wait 24 hours (its fine to touch and stretch in 2, but 24 is its strongest) and walah its golden again. its good stuff to keep on hand. Hope this helps and here is a pic of what you are looking for:
