Thanks Dr. Killjoy! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" /> Yes, we did work together and Killjoy is one cool guy and a VERY talented artist! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Yes, I worked on the mask when I was working with FunWorld. (I worked for FunWorld for almost 15 years before moving to another Halloween company, so I have a pretty good knowledge of the FunWorld history) It is all the same mask... essentially. What happened is for many years the mask was produced overseas in one factory. The supply bought each year by FunWorld was enough for that factory to produce all they needed. When the movie SCREAM was released and made the mask into a sensation and the market couldn't get enough of them, the company had to move additional production into another factory. That factory had to create their own molds to keep supply up with demand. As you know, a copy is a copy and even though it can be 99% accurate, it still will not be exactly the same. At the time this was going on I was the one checking the new molds against the old for consistency but unfortunately, the only way to ensure absolute quality control is to be at the factory overseas and double check what's being made there! So if you have a Ghostface mask that has Easter Unlimited in the mold around the backside of the jaw, you probably have one of the older, original versions of the mask, many of which would be BEFORE the movie SCREAM was released. (in my opinion, these are the thicker vinyl, much better quality looking masks) Those marked with FunWorld should be the newer ones from the second factory.BTW, Killjoy is correct, Easter Unlimited was the original company name. The Funworld name was added to handle the dolls and toys line and when they moved into other seasons, the FunWorld Division was applied to those as well.
