I don't want to hijack the thread, but this ship is already of course <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /> I know at one point someone involved with the production of part 3 stated that the triangles were not painted, that they were in fact a red plastic sheeting used in stage lights to change the white light thrown by them red. This is going back 3-5 years ago. IIRC, it may have been Gerald Feil (3-D Cinematogrpher) when he was poking his head around the F13 fan boards back in 2003.I hate to disagree with Ken, but for the indisputable evidence for me that its a sticker is that the part 3 mask has a solid, straight 'V', and at some point in part 4 (see shower scene) one half is clearly ripped and no longer staright. I am not talking about the rubbed (fallen) off left side, but the right side of the V that is clearly in 2 pieces. So either its a different mask with a different paint job (which goes against all evidence that part 3/4 is the same mask) or it was repainted (which is highly unlikely since all other markings from part 3 match exactly)<img src=\"http://www.vintagecottage.ca/golgo13/F13%20Pics/hock3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />As for staying on topic, Ruste Dowgs paints jobs are spot on, especially that part 3....very nice.....to me the sticker effect works good on film but never looks right when you have it in your hands. A nice glossy paint done so as to be 3-dimensional looks much better in person that tape or stickers. Although a shower scene mask wouldn't look right to me as paint....it just doesn't make sense for paint to end up ripped like that....
