2007 Costume Pics!

Hi all, I am new to the boards and have been a fan of Friday The 13th, Halloween, and Nightmare on Elm Street my whole life. Friday The 13th since about 1982! I have been lurking here for awhile, and talked to Darren via email about products I will be getting soon. Great costumes!I have been going as Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers for 20 years now. I just finished making my new part 7/part 8 costume, which is sort of a combination of both. I also have a part 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 costume with all the different hockey masks. I will be using the part 7 Hockey Mask this year. I worked my butt off sewing zombie parts into new clothes, and shredding them properly, as well as adding blood.I also constructed a very realistic looking axe, especially in low lighting, out of a real axe handle, cardboard, and construction paper. I built the entire costume myself from buying various parts online and in town. It looks absolutely great in low lighting outdoors. I have won many contests over the years with my costumes, and love to just walk around on Halloween and watch everyone cringe and react.Here is some multiple pics of what I made so far. The lighting does not do it justice, as I had to use brighter light because dim light won't show up through a camera. Every detail is not captured due to the florescent lighting, and distance. But just to give you an idea. I also use cobwebs which I left out so that the rest of the costume could be seen more clearly. I aged all the white bones with yellowish brown acrylic paint to match my gore chest. Can't wait for Halloween as it is my favorite season. I got about 5 parades and 3 costume parties coming up this week! Looking forward to posting here regularly!
