There are some stores that get really bent out of shape if someone wears a mask in them. Granted their usually "rob spots" like liquor stores and drug stores, but I seen people complain pretty much anywhere where there's a lot of money being spent. That might be why he mentioned the age limit. Some cities do have a ban on masks in public on adults as I've heard of a few cities attempting to thwart the KKK and any biggot groups using them so as to make them show their face in public. Perhaps your city is one of those?

Then you get a cool cop every once and a while, like the one that wanted his picture taken with me in full-on Myers gear a few years ago. He showed up after a noise complaint at a buddy of mine's house, asked us to turn it down, got a pic on his phone, and left. Cool guy.
