I, too, am quite perplexed that more people have not seen the entire series around here. With all the posts on different hockey masks on this board, I assumed everyone was like me and had seen each one hundreds of times... It kind of makes me feel a little old...I mean, I cut my teeth on these movies years ago...even got to see part 7 on the big screen. So those of you who haven\'t seen the entire series, stop reading NOW and run to your local video store!!! Damn, I used to spend my entire summer (every day) renting Friday films as well as others...
Anyway, part 3 has always stuck out to me as my favorite. It used to be part 6 but then I watched it again recently and it had lost a sort of \"edge\". Still love it though...especially the RV scene But part 3 is just great...very nostalgic for me.
Part 1 is a friggin\' classic and I had the chance to attend a midnight screening of that in a theater near me a few years ago on Halloween. I remember watching that in the dark, alone in my basement when I was little too...and running up the stairs at each commercial because I was so scared.
Part 2 is another great one...I think it has one of the most suspenseful chase scenes of all of them really. And the sack humanized Jason a little more I think.
Part 4 is another near the top of the list...great deaths and overall it moves quick and has soomething a little different than the rest.
What can I say...I love\'em all! Though I must say JGTH, X, and part 8 are waaaayy low on the list for me. The last great Friday the 13th (IMO) was part 7. I wasn\'t too keen on the supernatural powers Tina had, but that was one of the baddest Jasons ever.
